"79th Street Basin"
12 x 16
oil on canvas
This was painted on a very hot, beautiful day at the 79th Street Boat Basin in New York City. Instead of painting the boats on the Hudson River I decided to escape the heat and paint in the park behind the boat basin.

This landscape is remarkably appealing because it feels like I am there and its a beautiful location; it's like I'm walking into that place you've painted. The timeless feeling of a summer day is a precious experience you've captured.
Thanks for the beautiful comment. I am glad you got the feeling I tried to portray.
